About
Dr. Shannon grew up in Chicago, IL, where she was a top competitor in tennis and martial arts through high school and college. She graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH in 2017 with her clinical doctorate in physical therapy and a research specialization in ACL rehabilitation.
She obtained her board certification in orthopedics in 2021 and most recently attained her board certification in sports in 2026. She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified manual therapist. She has over eight years of experience providing evidence-based rehabilitation, return-to-performance programming, and on-field sports medicine coverage for elite, professional, NCAA Division I, collegiate, military, and high school athletes.

She is passionate about optimizing athlete health and performance through data-driven rehabilitation and comprehensive sports medicine.

Her passion is treating all manner of sports injuries. She has years of experience managing complex shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle injuries. In particular, she specializes in the rehabilitation of ACL injuries, using both operative and non-operative approaches.
